On November 1st, the 2025 "Ningde Entrepreneur Day" event and Ningde Business Conference, with the theme of "Gathering the Power of Ningde Business to Write a 'Ningde Chapter'", were held. Ningde businesses and enterprises from all over the world gathered to express their friendship and seek a common future. At the meeting, the attending leaders awarded plaques and certificates to the representatives of the sixth batch of national level specialized, refined, special and new "little giant" enterprises and Fujian provincial manufacturing industry single champion enterprises, and presented appointment letters to the first batch of "Ningde Investment Ambassadors"; Six representatives of entrepreneurs spoke together to discuss development and hometown sentiments.

As an indispensable and irreplaceable force in the development of Ningde, the private economy has become the "main force" of Ningde's economic development, the "initiative" of scientific and technological innovation, and the "main channel" of employment and entrepreneurship. It has contributed more than 70% of GDP and added value of large-scale industries, more than 80% of tax revenue, and more than 90% of employment and technological innovation achievements, supporting Ningde's economic output to rise to the fifth place in the province and advance to the top 100 in the country.

Starting from 2024, November 1st of each year will be designated as "Ningde Entrepreneur Day" in Ningde City. Through various forms of "Entrepreneur Day" activities, efforts will be made to create a strong atmosphere of valuing, being close to, and loving business throughout the city.

Pan Guoqiang expressed the hope that everyone can take advantage of the Fourth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China, strengthen confidence, seize opportunities, closely integrate the technological and capital advantages of enterprises with the industrial foundation and resource endowment of their hometowns, seek broad cooperation in the "two new, one big, one transformation" and more emerging tracks, and promote more high-quality projects to invest in Ningde; Give full play to the advantages of wide business network and deep network, vigorously promote and advertise Ningde, become a good spokesperson for Ningde's image, and cheer for the development of Ningde.

During this conference, Ningde City will connect 23 new industrial projects with a total investment of 5.115 billion yuan. Among them, there are 18 on-site signed projects with a total investment of 4.94 billion yuan, covering multiple industries such as new energy battery materials, battery structural components, optical new materials, shipbuilding, electrical appliances, and big health food.

At the meeting, Xu Guangzhong, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Office, made a promotion for investment.
